Mark Woodland and Clive Linham of Summerfield Homes are 2 of only 4 site managers to win the NHBC Pride in the Job Award for 2020 from Somerset. Clive Linham wins an award for his outstanding work developing the company’s complex brownfield site on Monmouth Street in Bridgwater which is a partnership scheme with SHAL Housing Association. Mark Woodland wins his 4th consecutive award for Killams Park, Taunton where Summerfield Homes are delivering 315 properties.
The NHBC Awards are one of the most highly regarded competitions in the house-building industry, dedicated to recognising Site Managers who achieve the highest standards in house building. Only 450 UK site managers out of over 11,000 entries have won the Quality Award in the first round of NHBC Pride in the Job Awards in 2020.
Judging for the Awards began in 2019, with each site manager assessed across these six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and health and safety.
Mark Blackwell, Managing Director of Summerfield Homes comments:
“I am extremely proud of both production teams building homes at Killams Park and Monmouth Street. Both Mark and Clive are exceptional site managers and it is testament to their hard work and continued focus on quality that Summerfield Homes have two Pride in the Job Award winners this year. ”
