First chance to explore new Killams Park development in Taunton

Summerfield Homes are delighted to offer an exclusive viewing around the much-anticipated new homes at Killams Park on the southeastern edge of Taunton. The new development will have an official sales office opening on Saturday 3 December and Summerfield invite customers to join them to walk the site.

The residential development will comprise 315 homes set within carefully landscaped streets, alongside a community orchard, allotments and playgrounds. Each property on the Killams development has been designed to complement its semi-rural setting on the outskirts of Taunton by using designs and materials which are in keeping with the surrounding area.

The sales office will be opening to offer customers the chance to see this development for the first time and walk the beautiful countryside site. The sales team are inviting people to come and enjoy mulled wine and mince pies from 10am until 3pm on Saturday 3 December. Visitors will be able to join a ‘wellie walk’ around the site, offering the rare chance to see the development in its early stage.

Walkers will need to wear wellies/stout shoes as the site may be muddy. Visitors will also have a chance to make a reservation on the day, giving them an exclusive opportunity to secure their chosen plot. Summerfield has been working on the project for several years now and will be offering 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses in the sought-after location with prices starting at £185,000.

The homes are within easy walking distance of the town’s amenities but also have the stunning local countryside on their doorsteps. Summerfield are providing several green spaces as part of the development, with eight of the 22 hectares developed reserved for green and open spaces. Almost 3,000 trees are being planted, as well as wildflower meadows and play areas for children.

The development creates hundreds of new homes and a fantastic boost to the economy. Chris Winter, Chief Executive at Summerfield, commented:

“In recent years, there has been a shortage of quality, new homes on the market and the Killams Park development is going to provide key contributions to the local economy. We have taken special care to strike a good balance between the homes and the open spaces, and we are creating lots of new environmental initiatives to help this further. We are excited to show people the site.”
