In contrast to the bustle of the Glastonbury Festival just a few miles down the road, things were a little more serene at the official opening of a new rural housing development in the village of Baltonsborough on the 23 June. Church Meadows is an exclusive development of three and four-bedroom homes, 13 of which are affordable properties available to the local community.
Michelle Heap, headteacher of Baltonsborough CE VC Primary School, opened the show home in traditional style by cutting a ribbon and developer and host of the event, Summerfield, were congratulated by the parish council, local community and partners who attended to have an early preview of the show home. A few of the new home owners, who had reserved plots early when the plans became available, also attended.
Richard Nicol of Summerfield, commented:
“On behalf of everyone involved in getting to this point, I would like to say thank you and I am delighted with how superb these new homes are. These homes genuinely need to be seen to be appreciated, both in terms of the stunning location and high quality features and finish.”
The show home for Church Meadows in Baltonsborough is open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 10am to 4pm. The direct line to the show home is 01458 851649 or via the agent, Jeanes Holland Burnell in Glastonbury 01458 833133. For further information, visit www.summerfield.co.uk.
