Summerfield held two successful open days in Minehead and Williton, launching an internal decorations package worth £3,000 for new homebuyers, whilst also raising money for St. Margaret’s Hospice.
Regional property developer, Summerfield, are offering an internal decorations package, worth up to £3,000, to anyone who reserves a property before 8 August 2015 at their College Gardens site, Minehead or The Paddocks development in Williton. Homebuyers will be able to choose from a variety of floor coverings and blinds for their new property, which will be sourced locally to support businesses in Somerset.
To kick-start the offer, cream tea viewing days took place on Saturday 12 July in glorious sunshine at both sites. In return for a donation on the day to one of Summerfield’s chosen charities, St. Margaret’s Hospice, potential buyers enjoyed locally sourced scones, jam and cream, while gaining advice from Summerfield’s sales team and interior designers on how to make the make the most of the offer.

Our open day on 12 July allowed people to view the show homes at College Gardens and The Paddocks, while also giving them the opportunity choose their £3,000 of free décor, by reserving a home. The College Gardens development is well situated in the popular residential area of Alcombe, Minehead, and offers a choice of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes with prices starting at £155,000. At The Paddocks in Williton, three-bedroom terraced homes with either garages or two parking spaces are available from £175,000, as well as four-bedroom semi-detached or detached properties ranging from £220,000 to £249,950 depending on the plot.

As well as helping new homebuyers and supporting local businesses, Taunton-based charity, St. Margaret’s Hospice, also benefited from the cream tea open days as they will receive £100 for every property sale that completes within 2014. Donations were also made at the cream tea open days in support of the local charity and Summerfield recently presented St Margaret’s Hospice with a cheque for £2,400 from sales in the first quarter and Summerfield are hopeful that there will be more significant donations throughout of the year.
