Situation

The town has a good range of local shops and the larger settlements of Williton and Minehead are within a short drive offering a wider selection of retail outlets and facilities. Good road links provide easy access to the County Town of Taunton (approx 20 miles) via the A358 and Bridgwater (approx 18 miles) via the A39. The M5 can be joined at both towns for fast links to the rest of the country.

There are a number of local services including a doctors surgery and library and for the more sporting minded tennis courts, football, cricket and bowling club. In addition over the years, the colourful annual carnival weekend has grown into one of the areas major events and is very popular with locals and visitors alike.

Taunton's mainline train has fast trains to London in just under 2 hours and both Bristol and Exeter have expanding regional airports.
