The cities of Bristol and Bath are located to the North of Cheddar and both offer access to main line rail links. Bristol airport is located
between Cheddar and Bristol. There is access to the M5 either at Junction 21 (Weston Super Mare) or Junction 22 (Burnham on Sea). To the south of the village are the city of Wells and the towns of Street and Glastonbury.
