Taunton Boules Tournament
A touch of France comes to the county town
In association with Taunton Chamber of Commerce and supported by King's College, Summerfield Developments is inviting local businesses to raise a team of 3-4 of their finest Boules players (3 playing at any one time) to enter the inaugural Taunton Boules Tournament.
The event will take place at 2pm on Friday 9 September 2011 at King's College, Taunton. A team entry costs £60 (£55 for Taunton Chamber members) or individual can take part for £20.
Refreshments and French themed light bites will be included with proceeds from the event being donated to CLIC Sargent, the charity for children with cancer.
Ben Trickey of Summerfield says “There has already been a very good response from local businesses to the Taunton Boules Tournament. It should be a fun way to raise money for CLIC Sargent whilst mixing with other companies from the area. Hopefully the weather will be kind, but we have some shelter organised just in case!
